Ratatan Dekadon: Tutorial Encounter & Early Access Attack Cues

At a glance

Treat tutorial Dekadon, the ordinary rematch and Charged Dekadon as separate encounters. The tutorial introduces Fall In followed by Attack; the attack-cue table below is for the Early Access encounter and should be used as a historical comparison.

Tutorial and rematch are different encounters

The opening tutorial uses Dekadon while teaching Fall In and Attack. Follow the command prompts displayed in that encounter. A later rematch or Charged Dekadon should not be treated as the same tutorial fight.

Early Access attack-cue reference

This table describes the September 2025 Early Access fight. Timing and rematch requirements can differ in the full release.

Cue Response described for the Early Access fight
Red-eyed roar followed by targeted meteors Move away from marked impact points and lingering fire pools; later phases can target multiple points.
Low posture followed by fire breath Jump over the ground-level fire.
Low posture and scraping before a charge Avoid staying close; jumping was advised, but distant airborne allies could still be hit.
Leap and shockwave Avoid both contact and the continuing shockwave damage.
Dense meteors with purple flames Look for gaps between impacts rather than assuming one fixed safe spot.

Choose the right preparation

Practice Jump and Guard against the cue you can see. If the encounter name or attacks differ from this table, use the current encounter’s prompts rather than forcing an Early Access timing pattern.
